Sarah Rara is a Los Angeles based artist. Earth Breakup is a collection of polaroids and poems from 2015 produced on opposite coasts, from wet Miami to dry Los Angeles. She is a contributing member of the group Lucky Dragons. Her work, solo and in collaboration, has been presented at such institutions as the Hammer Museum, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Centre Georges Pompidou, Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, London’s Institute for Contemporary Art, MOCA Los Angeles, the Getty Center, and the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, among others.
