Product description
Formalised in the 16th century, Gurmukhi became a script to read and write Panjabi. Over the last few generations, the Panjabi-speaking population has dispersed around the globe with the local language or English becoming their mother tongue. Understandably, the new generation finds it difficult to learn Panjabi in the conventional way, unlike their parents. This book uses fun and unorthodox methods to teach Gurmukhi through Phonics, with an aim to engage the learner where Panjabi and/or Gurmukhi is deemed as a foreign language.
