This artwork is of the Letter 'Seen' equivalent to the letter 'S' in Latin.
This series aims to infuse Nourine’s Arab culture into her drawings. The artist showcased the exquisite Arabic Calligraphy in the form Hyperrealistic balloons. Through her drawings, the balloons appear like surreal floating sculptures, despite being motionless, two-dimensional, made with pencil on paper.
Nourine’s technique involved referencing regular Latin letter balloons and meticulously following the guidelines and shapes of Arabic Calligraphy to create each unique letter.
