The soft sculptures are hand sewn using hand-dyed cotton. The representation is an attempt to get a year round fungus fix when this mycorrhizal mushroom species is usually only available seasonally. Not to be confused with the real mushroom, look closer and the mushrooms in the image are a different form of “real”. The sticker immortalizes the representation of the representation, thus a simulacrum. This sticker is 2.0in (5.08cm) at its longest length.
