This is the story of my relationship with Plot 105 – my allotment. The book explains how my creative engagement with the site has unfolded since taking it on and how the plot formed the focus of my practice-based MA research. An essay describes my practice and serves as interpretation for subsequent art works that I intend to make using my allotment-sourced materials. The text is followed by a photographic essay. Together, text and image tell the story of how and why those materials - and the gathering, processing and use of them - are important to me.
