At unplanned points within the last 4 years, Arva and Barbieri have been meeting up for improvised shoots. They usually sprang up sessions last minute, weeks, days, or sometimes the night before and waited what the magic they could portray from whatever wave was Barbieri experiencing at the time. Arva captured Barbieri at some really great times, and at some really bad times. Laughing, crying, confident, womanly, post-recovery / the overshooting stage, the highs, lows, and all the in-between. Barbieri's body has ebbed and flowed, healed and strengthened. Her spirit has dimmed, danced, shone, and seesawed.

Arva has created a 2021 calendar with specially curated 13 photos in hopes to support the project. Both Arva and Barbieri can’t wait to bring this project into its ‘ultimate physical form’ and they pray that it shows the true story of growth.
