View of Queen Street from Second Avenue. The sign for the Bank of British North America appears at right, the Hotel Cecil is located across the street on what is now an empty lot. Opposite the Cecil where the Downtown Hotel now sits is a unidentified drug store, behind the drug store is the Labbe Hotel and further along Queen the Central Cafe.
