It’s hard to imagine a better outing in the White Mountains than an ascent of Mount Washington with an overnight in the Observatory. On the way up we can ascend the peak by any number of routes. The good news is that when you get to the summit, instead of turning around and wearily hiking back down, you’ll pry open the heavy door of the Observatory and soon find yourself transported to another world. The maximum group size is 9 people (plus guides) and these trips sell out fast. The price includes equipment rental, dinner & breakfast in the Mount Washington Observatory, plus two days of guiding on the mountain.

This trip is permitted by the NH Dept of Natural and Cultural Resources, Div. of Parks and Recreation, as well as the USDA White Mountain National Forest.
