This Wolf Mask was hand-carved by Kwakwaka'wakw artist Gilbert Dawson. It has been carved from red cedar and painted in black, red, and green acrylic.

The Wolf Symbol represents loyalty, strong family ties, good communication, education, understanding, and intelligence. Of all land animals, the Wolf has the strongest supernatural powers and is the most accomplished hunter.

The mask measures approximately 7 inches or 17 3/4 centimeters long, 6 inches or 15 centimeters high, and 3 1/4 inches or 8 centimeters wide.
