The rules
So to avoid being fined signs for builders must contain the following:

Your name as it appears on your licence and the number.
Be made from weatherproof materials.
Be bigger than half a square metre.
 Have 50mm high print or larger.

And when you install it onto the fence it must be clearly visible from the street.

Just remember the QBCC will investigate complaints about site signage that don’t meet the requirements of the QBCC.

Owner Builder Signs QLD
As an owner builder in Queensland your builders site sign must contain the following:

Your owner-builder permit number.
Be made of weatherproof materials.
Be bigger than half a square metre.
Have 50mm high print or larger.

Owner builders also need to display an owner builder sign on their site. If you don’t the QBCC can fine you as well.

And it must be displayed so it is clearly visible from the street.

Corflute Builders Signs
Our builder's signs are made with 5mm corflute.
Corflute is a form of corrugated plastic made from lightweight resin. It’s the most common material used for Builders Signs in Australia.
Is Corflute weather resistant?
Yes, Corflute signs are waterproof.
Corflute is a corrugated plastic that is not affected by rain. And it has UV stabilizes in the plastic so it can withstand sunlight and general weather conditions.
Please note Corflute signboards are a short-term sign product.

Care
How to care for your signage?
Signage that is being used internally, simply clean them with a damp cloth. If the signs are being used externally, they can be cleaned with warm water and a very mild liquid detergent.
When you are storing the signs place them in a cool, dry room. Keep them flat and don't do not learn anything heavy on them so they don't bend.
