Hand Wash
Sustainably created from regenerated nylon made from ECONYL® fibers made from old fishing nets, old carpets, and other nylon waste, which has the potential to be recycled infinitely. 78% Nyon, 22% Lycra extra life.
The product is very unlikely to shed microfiber because of its composition but If you want to make sure to limit the microfiber shed we can recommend wearing the garment more than once before washing. Washing the clothes cold & in a laundry bag also limits the shed of microfiber.

Malaika Boysen Haaning founded Malaika New York in 2014 while attending Parsons. The Danish-born, US-based designer lives and breathes sustainability. She has mastered her craft of constructing zero waste concepts and innovative sewing techniques while growing her company that now expands to locations on the east & west coast of the USA and beyond. She is very detail-oriented & loves architecture which clearly shows in her design aesthetic. Her goal with Malaika New York is to give women the opportunity to feel comfortable yet modern wearing sustainable fashion. She says "Sustainable fashion should be cool and fun not bland".  Malaika says "hej" Danish for "hi" :).
